The Pearl retail development formally known as The Outlets of Bloomfield is changing its name to Outlets of Mississippi.

shopping-bags-clipartThe 325,000 square-foot value retail center located just minutes from downtown Jackson already has construction under way and a grand opening slated for November. Spectrum Capital, a privately-owned, diversified real estate firm, is currently managing the project.

“The new name reflects the sense of pride our new outlet shopping destination will bring not only to the citizens of Pearl and Jackson but to all Mississippi residents,” said project developer Jason Voyles. “Outlets of Mississippi will attract new visitors to the marketplace, generate permanent employment and bring new revenue to the state.”

Voyles says shoppers will save up to 65 percent on retail at already signed stores like Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th, The Children’s Place, Nike Factory Store, Hartstrings, Under Armour, Gymboree, J.Crew, Carter’s, BCBG Max Azria, Johnston & Murphy Factory Store, Chico’s Outlet, Kay Jewelers, White House/Black Market, Perfume Collection.
