Mississippians rally for American Eurocopter

A little Lakota fan.

American Eurocopter today received the inaugural Golden Triangle Development LINK Industry of the Year award. Employees and their families, state and local officials and members of the Golden Triangle community gathered to celebrate the honor and to rally in support of preserving funding for the UH-72A Lakota helicopter built for the U.S. Army and Army National Guard.

Speakers included Golden Triangle Development LINK CEO Joe Max Higgins, American Eurocopter Columbus employee and U.S. Navy veteran Gloria Ervin, American Eurocopter President and CEO Marc Paganini, Rep. Gregg Harper, Sen. Roger Wicker, EADS North America Chairman and CEO Sean O’Keefe, U.S. Representative Alan Nunnelee, and Gov. Phil Bryant.
