The museum was in the process of moving from the now-closed Wynn Automotive Sales & Service in Memphis to Harrah’s Casino in Tunica, according to Memphisport.com, but the switch to Resorts was announced Friday evening.
“Contract signed, done deal! Resort Casino, Tunica, MS is new home for Jerry Lawler Museum! Opening info soon.” Lawler said on his @JerryLawler twitter account.
Lawler, 63, is known as “The King” in the wrestling world and has held 168 wrestling championships in his career. He is currently a wrestling analyst for television and still wrestles occasionally.
