574941_group_of_young_people_around_computer_300Mississippi’s Creative Economy Twitter feed is hosting a conversation beginning on Thursday at 7:00 PM.

Twitter users can follow the Tweets during that time posted by @MSCreativeEcon and use of the #msCreative hashtag is also encouraged.

“We’ll be discussing how innovation is a real economic driver moving Mississippi forward, and how our investment in STEM education and training, technology, and creative entrepreneurial start-ups will help lead our state to the top of the pack in the knowledge economy,” Tim Mask, VP with Maris, West & Baker Advertising and proprietor of the feed, said in an email.

The @MSCreativeEcon feed and forum is a service of the Jackson advertising agency Maris West & Baker and was established to promote the value of Mississippi’s creative and entrepreneurial Economy.

The firm also runs Twitter feeds for Mississippi’s Energy Economy, Mississippi’s Healthcare Economy, and The Mississippi Brain Drain Commission.

Thursday’s Twitter forum will include special guest expert Bruce Deer, a noted Mississippi technology and communications executive.
