August 1, 2013

CNN Money has posted a YouTube video from the annual Black Hat Security conference.

In the video, National Security Agency director Gen. Keith Alexander is heckled after explaining controversial NSA surveillance programs that were recently leaked to news organizations.

A map behind the NSA chief claimed the federal agency’s programs had prevented terrorist incidences in four continents including 13 in the United States and 25 in Europe.

At one point during Gen. Alexander’s presentation, someone shouts what sounds like, “Freedom.”

“Help us defend the country and come up with a better solution,” Alexander responds.

“Read the Constitution,” someone in the audience shouts minutes later.

“I have. You should too.” Alexander responds.
