Denver Broncos and New York Giants quarterback brothers Peyton and Eli Manning have teamed up to promote DirecTV’s Sunday Ticket NFL mobile plan in a video that has the Internet buzzing.

Dressed as rappers and with their own backup dancers, the Mannings extol the virtues of “Football On Your Phone.”

There’s even a cameo of dad Archie Manning in a Luke Skywalker-esque wig. Yikes.

The video is already up to 1.6 million views on YouTube.

This may the most awkward YouTube video this reporter has ever seen, and that’s saying a lot.

Good effort guys, but next time just stick to Oreo commercials.

  1. Sam Blak Says:

Awkward was the point. Its genius. Them poor Manning boys can’t act a lick, and they glorify that fact in this video (very obviously inspired by Lonely Island/Andy Samberg).

Like Val Kilmer in the 80s, it’s Real Genius.
