West Nile Virus takes life of third Mississippian in 2013

West Nile disease is transmitted from birds to mosquitoes and finally to humans. It can be fatal and to date there is no cure.

JACKSON, Mississippi – According to the Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH), the third Mississippian of 2013 has died of West Nile virus (WNV).
