Peach-BBQ-Spare-RibsA pair of Coast restaurateurs have found out that one of their products is being served at a rather high-profile place — the White House.

The owners of The Shed BBQ & Blues Joint say they couldn’t be happier to know that Vice President Joe Biden requests the White House chef to cook his barbecue with their Original Southern Sweet Shed Sauce.

The Shed owners Brad Orrison and Brooke Orrison Lewis received word from the New York Daily News that White House chef Guy Mitchell provides The Shed’s famous sauce for Biden while offering a North Carolina competitor’s sauce for the President.

In response, the brother and sister duo recorded a video inviting Biden to “come get fed at The Shed” and pick out his favorite “junk free” sauce.

President Obama and his wife are known for their campaign to get the country eating healthy and that’s exactly what The Shed stands for as well. The restaurant serves sauces, marinades and meats that are free of additives, GMO’s, hormones and high-fructose corn syrup, or ‘junk’ as the Orrison family likes to call it. With options from Spicy Mustard to Spicy Vinegar or Spicy Southern Sweet, they think eventually Chef Mitchell may only have to get one sauce delivered to the White House.”
