SBA disaster loan application deadline is Monday for Tupelo, Louisville

sba logoDisaster Loan Outreach Centers in Louisville and Tupelo will cease operations at the close of business Monday, the U.S. Small Business Administration said in a news release today. Monday is also the final day to file an SBA Disaster loan application, including homeowners, renters and businesses of all sizes for physical damage caused by severe storms, tornadoes and flooding that occurred April 28 thru May 3.

The SBA urges those affected to visit the centers before they close to obtain one-on-one assistance and information about the disaster program.

The Lee County center is at Old Tupelo Water and Light, 320 Court St., Tupelo.

The Winston County center is at Georgia Pacific,826 S. Church Ave., Louisville.

The centers are open weekdays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Applicants may apply online using the Electronic Loan Application (ELA) via SBA’s secure website at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela or visit one of the centers for assistance.

Additional details on the loan application process can be obtained by calling SBA’s Customer Service Center at 800-659-2955 (800-877-8339 for the deaf and hard-of-hearing) or by sending an email to disastercustomerservice@sba.gov. Loan applications can be downloaded from www.sba.gov.

The deadline to return economic injury applications is Jan. 30, 2015.
