Mississippi dipped back into recession in 2011, with overall economic output shrinking 0.8 percent, according to federal figures released Tuesday. Experian gives Jackson nation’s 2nd worst credit score

Jackson can be thankful for Harlingen, Texas. Without Harlingen, the Mississippi capital would have the nation’s worst Experian credit score. The credit reporting bureau gives Harlingen a national low of 686 and Jackson a second place 701, based on the credit history of residents.
