While I am not a huge fan of going to the State fair as an adult, I am glad when the fair is in town because it usually means cooler weather.
Since the production of our upcoming NEXT! Life after high school magazine has been completed, I will now have more time and thought to put towards my half-marathon training. This magazine has been in the works for months now and everyone here at the MBJ has been working tirelessly to get the copy written, ads sold and layout and design complete. Because I’ve been putting in the extra hours to complete this project, I have not been clocking the miles. Only workouts I’ve had time to do are the ones for P90X.
Last Friday I did put in a great 5 1/2 mile run with the help of the cooler temperatures. I had a great pace, smooth stride and felt comfortable the whole time. And even better, no soreness the next day. Thanks P90X!
I’m looking forward to a 6-miler tomorrow but see below for my training regimen for the next two weeks. My plan it to get at least three days of running in per week since I’m so P90X. Two shorter distance runs and one longer run.

Tomorrow 10/9: 6 mile run
Sunday 10/10: P90X Yoga
Monday 10/11: P90X Chest, Shoulders & Triceps + AbRipperX + 3 mile run at lunch
Tuesday 10/12: P90X Plyometrics
Wednesday 10/13: P90X Back & Biceps + AbRipperX + 3 mile run at lunch
Thursday 10/14: P90X Yoga
Friday 10/15: P90X Legs & Back + AbRipperX
Saturday 10/16: P90X Kenpo
Sunday 10/17: 6-7 mile run
Monday 10/18: P90X Chest, Shoulders & Triceps + AbRipperX
Tuesday 10/19: P90X Plyometrics
Wednesday 10/20: P90X Back & Biceps + AbRipperX + 3 mile run at lunch
Thursday 10/21: P90X Yoga
