State erects second international Blues Trail marker in France

Jackson Blues Trail marker unveiled Thursday

JACKSON – A Mississippi Blues Trail marker will be unveiled Thursday in downtown Jackson to honor was one of the first businesses to offer professional recording technology. The marker will honor Scott Radio Service Company, which was used by Jackson-based Trumpet Record Label for its first sessions with blues artists from 1950 to 1952.
