DESOTO COUNTY — A delegation from DeSoto County is going to Washington, D.C., to battle a feared ozone ranking. CHOCTAW COUNTY — Choctaw County has joined the 303 Mississippi communities allowed to purchase federally backed flood insurance, the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) reports.
