Universities to confer most degrees in history this spring

ACROSS MISSISSIPPI — For the first time, Mississippi’s eight public universities will confer more than 10,000 degrees during spring commencement ceremonies. Two-year institutions' graduates up more than 14 percent

ACROSS MISSISSIPPI — During the 2010-2011 academic year, Mississippi’s 15 community colleges have awarded 13,228 degrees during graduation ceremonies.
