Workers suing company after power plant explosion

HARTFORD, Conn. — Attorneys for nine people injured or killed in a Connecticut power plant explosion say they’re suing companies involved in building and overseeing the facility. Report finds decrease in injuries/illnesses

WASHINGTON — Both the rate and the number of non-fatal occupational injuries and illnesses requiring days away from work in private industry decreased 7 percent from 2007 to 2008, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).
