GREENVILLE — A $108,000 grant from the state Department of Archives and History will help with renovations of the old Greenville Yazoo & Mississippi Valley Railroad depot in Greenville.

PITTSBORO — An abandoned rail line in Calhoun and Yalobusha counties may become the home for a recreational trail.
WTVA-TV reports Calhoun County supervisors approved a resolution Monday to create the Mississippi and Skuna Valley Rails to Trails Recreational District.
The county must sign a pact with Yalobusha County to make the project a reality.
