ACROSS MISSISSIPPI — The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency has received reports of damage from eight counties as a result of severe weather that moved through the state yesterday. Embezzlement trial rescheduled for ex-town clerk

ROLLING FORK — The trial for the former town clerk of Anguilla, who has been indicted for embezzlement of $107,444, has been rescheduled for Sept. 16. The Vicksburg Post reports that 33-year-old Manika Kelly was scheduled for trial yesterday in Sharkey County but Circuit Judge M. James Chaney moved the trial date.
