OSHA cites RoyTex for 18 safety, health violations

MERIDIAN — The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has cited Roytex Inc. in Meridian with 18 serious safety and health violations for exposing workers to electrical hazards, flaking lead paint, asbestos and other hazards. Cut-and-sew bill signed into law

JACKSON — Gov. Haley Barbour has signed a bill that would provide furniture manufacturers a $2,000 tax credit for new cut-and-sew workers.
