State's jobless rate falls to lowest level since 2009

ACROSS MISSISSIPPI — Mississippi’s unemployment rate fell to 8.5 percent in November, the lowest level since February 2009. Sitel Corp. laying off dozens of workers at call center

Starkville — Sitel Corp. will lay off up to 58 workers from its Starkville call center in September. Based in Nashville, Tenn., Sitel employs nearly 500 people at the Starkville call center. Unemployment rate fell in all 82 counties in June

ACROSS MISSISSIPPI — Unemployment rates fell in all Mississippi counties in June compared to a year ago, according to figures released yesterday.
