Ford to lead schools

Jackie Ford, who had been interim schools chief in New Albany since May, has been named schools superintendent. The Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal reports Ford succeeds Charles Garrett, who retired from the district to take a position with the Wellspring Center for Professional Futures.
