JACKSON- Brent's Drugs, a Fondren diner that started out as a pharmacy and soda fountain in 1946, is causing quite the local buzz with its several appearances in the box office hit movie "The Help" from Dreamsworks Entertainment. The movie, based on the New York Times bestselling novel by Jackson native Kathryn Stockett, tells the story of hate and forgiveness from the perspective of three women living in Jackson during the turbulent 1960's. Brent's owner Brad Reeves says the studio's decision to film the movie in Jackson and Greenwood has put his business and neighborhood on the map.
