DECD seeks input

Tourism Development, a Mississippi Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) division, is looking for information to update two publications and create a new brochure highlighting commercial and non-commercial recreational activities.

The Hunting and Fishing Guide and the Outfitters’ Guide offer information on hunting and fishing, outfitters, lodges, shooting preserves and recreational areas. In addition, a new guide is planned that will list recreational opportunities to visitors.

Deadline for submitting information is June 11. Information may be faxed to (601) 359-5757, or mailed to Director-Tourism Leisure and Resort Bureau, Mississippi Department of Economic and Community Development, Tourism Development Division, P.O. Box 849, Jackson, MS 39205. Individuals submitting information for consideration will be contacted later for specific details.

For more information, call (601) 359-3297.
