JACKSON — A multi-media communications project produced by Jackson-based Marketing Alliance for the Sumter Economic Development Board in Sumter, S.C., received the Special Judges Award at the Communications Awards ceremony at the Southern Economic Development Council’s (SEDC’s) Annual Conference held recently in Point Clear, Ala.
The winning entry was for the organization’s arrangement of multi-media communications including the “American Spirit, Global Edge” pocket folder, “American Spirit – Global Edge” community videos, the “American Spirit, Global Edge” kiosk and Sumter Smarter Growth Initiative Annual Report. All entries were judged on graphic appeal, clarity and appropriateness of message, positioning and differentiation and content.
Other work created by Marketing Alliance for the Sumter Economic Development Board receiving awards included: the Thinking Outside the Box Superior Award, medium division, for the “American Spirit, Global Edge” kiosk system; the General Purpose Brochure Excellent Award for the “American Spirit, Global Edge” pocket folder; the Electronic Multimedia Superior Award, medium division, for the “American Spirit, Global Edge” community videos; and the Annual Report medium division Excellent Award for the Sumter Smarter Growth Initiative Annual Report.
