STARKVILLE — Cemtrex Inc. of Farmingdale, N.Y., has completed the installation of its Green DCV system for the Starkville Electric Department (SED). The system was installed to help reduce energy consumption, monitor indoor air quality and help attain LEED points for the building.
According to Cemtrex, its Green DCV reduces energy consumption by up to 40 percent and improves indoor air quality by monitoring building occupancy patterns and indoor air quality parameters.
After an evaluation process, MD Engineering selected the Green DCV as the most cost-effective solution for the SED’s building.
“Cemtrex along with Weathers Refrigeration, the installing contractor, worked with us through the process, helping us to develop a comprehensive energy management solution and ensuring we would meet our LEED objectives,” said George Kato from MD Engineering.
