PSC fines Texas telemarketer for No-Call violation

JACKSON — Southern District Public Service Commissioner Leonard Bentz announced that the Mississippi Public Service Commission (PSC) has fined Houston, Texas-based Mobile Marketing Solutions $45,000 for violating the Mississippi No-Call Law.

“Mobile Marketing Solutions violated the Mississippi No-Call Law by failing to register on the No-Call list. In addition, they failed to purchase the No-Call List as required by law, and contacted consumers that are registered on the No-Call list,” Bentz said.

The company has furthermore failed to respond to complaints filed by the PSC. Bentz added, “Mobile Marketing Solutions is prohibited from making calls for solicitation and purchasing the No-Call list until the $45,000 fine has been paid,” Bentz added.
