Eley Guild Hardy Architects recently welcomed Taylor Claussen as an intern architect. A native of Hueytown, Ala., Claussen received a bachelor of architecture in 2014 from Mississippi State University. While attending MSU, she was actively involved with the Sigma Chi Lambda sorority where she worked on projects for World Vision. During the summer 2013, Claussen worked to identify cotton mills in Mississippi and what the preservation options were for these buildings. Based on the research conducted, she was awarded first place in the MSU Undergraduate Research Symposium and the ARCC/King Medal For Excellence in Architectural and Environmental Research.
Taylor, the daughter of Herb and Jerri Keefer, is married to Matthew Claussen and currently resides in Mobile, Ala.
