OLIVE BRANCH — Southern Airways has added three new cities to be served from Jackson (Madison), and an upgrade of its Destin, Florida, service from seasonal to year-round.

“We are very pleased to be adding new Jackson service to three additional cities: Memphis, Oxford and Atlanta,” said Stan Little, Southern’s chairman and CEO. “All Southern flights to or from Metropolitan Jackson will use Southern’s executive terminal at Madison Airport, which our summer passengers flying to Destin have already found to be much more convenient, efficient, and hassle-free than having to go through Jackson’s international airport.”

Southern began offering new service to Memphis yesterday. The weekend service to Oxford launched today. The new Atlanta service, via Memphis or Destin, kicks off Sept. 7.
