Furniture maker to make announcement

Gov. Phil Bryant and United Furniture Industries officials will make an announcement at 11 a.m. Monday in Verona, according to news release from the Mississippi Development Authority.
United announced in December that it had bought a 475,000-square-foot building formerly owned by Lane Furniture Industries.
United said at the time that the facility would be used for manufacturing and would be open in the first quarter of this year.
United employs about 1,500 in northeast Mississippi.
