JACKSON — Gov. Phil Bryant will be the keynote speaker May 7 at a conference to provide access to export and trade-related experts across the industry to Mississippi’s small and medium-sized firms.
The 2015 Export Summit will be held at the Jackson Convention Center in downtown Jackson.
Mississippi Development Authority officials say in a news release that one-on-one, pre-arranged meetings with these export facilitators will provide valuable information on export planning, financing options and assistance, required documentation and regulations, market research, and more.
The MDA says Mississippi companies export a wide range of products throughout 200 international markets in Europe, Asia, North America and South America.
The event is also sponsored by the Small Business Administration-funded State Trade and Export Promotion Program, World Trade Center Mississippi and the U.S. Department of Commerce.
