The Ramey Agency, a brand strategy and marketing communications firm, has added Crystal Coleman, Don Hawkins, Swayze Pentecost, Sam Potesky and Sherry Spille.
After growing up in Batesville, Coleman attended Mississippi State University and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with an emphasis in Graphic Design. She has previously worked at AllMedia Design Group in Nashville, Limb Design in Houston, Maris, West & Baker, and Cooke Douglass Farr Lemons Architects + Engineers PA. She is now a Senior Art Director at Ramey where she will provide art direction and graphic design.
Hawkins grew up in Ocean Springs and attended the University of Mississippi where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Prior to joining Ramey, he worked at McAlister’s Deli, Moe’s Southwest Grill, and was most recently a Project Manager at Godwin Group. At Ramey, Don will work as Creative Services Manager. He will be responsible for supporting broadcast, audio, photography and content/digital media assets relating to each corresponding creative engagement in the agency.
Pentecost was raised in Jackson and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design at Mississippi State University and Master’s Degree in Preservation Studies from Tulane University. Her previous jobs were held at Ferguson and Associates Architects, Mississippi Department of Archives and History and Make-A-Wish Mississippi. At Ramey, Swayze will serve as an Associate Account Executive assisting various accounts of the agency.
Potesky is a native of Summit, N.J., and earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Millsaps College and Southern Methodist University. While in undergrad, he worked as a Production/Market Assistant for Cathead Vodka. After graduation, he worked at EquityMetrix in Dallas. He is starting his agency career now at Ramey as an Associate Copywriter.
Spille is a native of Crystal Springs and graduated from Mississippi College in Accounting and Education. She has taught first grade at Hillcrest Christian School and worked as the Director of Accounting at Stewpot Community Services where she still volunteers her time. Now in her role as Finance Manager at Ramey, she will be helping manage the accounting department.
The new employees will be join Ramey’s Jackson office in Fondren.
