Mississippi US SBA district office kicked off its 2015 Emerging Leaders

In April, the Mississippi U. S. Small Business Administration (SBA) District Office kicked off its Emerging Leaders training at the JSU e-Center in Jackson. In the class are Bill Griffiths, President of RBG Contractors Inc.; Calvin Ousby, Sr., President/CEO of C&B Enterprise, Inc.; Carolyn Cockrell, President/CEO of Premiere Shredding Inc.; Earl Washington, President/CEO of U.S. Coating Specialties & Supplies; James Robinson, President/CEO of Choctaw Ikhana Laboratory Services, Inc.; Jim Griffith, CEO of Griffith Financial Services; Johnny Jones, COO of SanJo Security Services; Rexal Heidelberg, Owner of Truckla Services Inc.; Talecia Garrett, President of Garrett ECI; and Wayne Procell, President/CEO of DCMS, Inc.

Emerging Leaders is an intensive training initiative to accelerate the growth of high potential small businesses located in underserved communities.  Developed by the SBA, Emerging Leaders offers qualified business owners powerful benefits including innovative strategies to grow, acquire financing, access new markets and leverage networking.

The April 4th class was the first of 13 scheduled to occur bi-weekly through early November.
