Trustmark, Murrah High School educators and Mississippi State Treasurer Lynn Fitch recently celebrated student graduates of the Trustmark Financial Scholars Program, a financial education course designed to empower young people with the essential skills needed to make sound financial decisions. The ceremony included remarks from Trustmark CEO Jerry Host, Treasurer Fitch, Murrah High School Principal Kennieth Green and student representatives, a financial literacy quiz game and presentation of completion certificates. Trustmark has partnered with leading education technology company EverFi, Inc. to develop the interactive, web-based financial management program in Mississippi 125 schools. This academic year, the Trustmark Financial Scholars Program is used in 94 schools across the state and has reached more than 6,800 students, including more than 150 Murrah High School students.
