Maxine Odum, nurse with Forrest General Hospice in Hattiesburg, was recently presented the Mississippi Heart of Hospice award at the Louisiana-Mississippi Hospice and Palliative Care Organization’s conference in New Orleans. The recipient of the annual this award is a clinician from each of the two states who has demonstrated outstanding achievements in hospice and end-of-life care.
