Verizon taps Gladhill

Verizon Wireless has named Keith Gladhill as president–Houston/Gulf. He replaces Krista Bourne, who was recently named president for the Carolinas and Tennessee region for Verizon.

In this role, Gladhill leads more than 1,500 employees and is responsible for directing sales, marketing, operations and financial performance across an area stretching from southeastern Texas along the Gulf Coast to the Florida Panhandle. The Houston/Gulf Coast region is headquartered in Houston which is part of the company’s South Area.

Gladhill’s experience in the wireless industry spans 21 years with Verizon Wireless and its legacy companies. He has experience in the region as a previous director of retail and indirect sales, and also served as acting president of the Houston/Gulf Coast region during 2011-2012. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Management from Western Michigan University and received his MBA from the University of Houston.
