White Construction Company — based in Ridgeland and in Austin, Texas — has opened a new office in Houston, Texas, president Guy H. White has announced. Jim Snyder will oversee the new office. Snyder, who has a degree in construction science from Texas A&M, will be a vice president with the company. Snyder previously worked from the Austin office managing several projects in a senior position.
Founded in 1971, White Construction has worked on building headquarters and campuses for major corporations like Dell Inc., Whole Foods Market Inc., and FNC, Inc.’s International Headquarters in Oxford, as well as municipal buildings, correctional facilities, medical centers, luxury homes, residential towers, churches and retail shops. White Construction has worked on interior renovations and historic restorations including the MSU-Riley Center in Meridian.
Most recently, White finished working on the new Whole Foods grocery store at Highland Village in Jackson and the Ergon Laboratory and Office Building in Vicksburg. Work is soon to start on the new Baker-Donelson offices in The District in Jackson and the new headquarters for FNC in Oxford.
