Molpus buys 26,786 acres in Idaho and Washington

The Molpus Woodlands Group LLC announced Monday the purchase of 26,786 acres of timberland in northern Idaho and eastern Washington for a client.

The property is dominated by evergreen saw timber, the company said in a release. Molpus will manage manage the property from its Coeur d’Alene, Idaho office, which now manages 163,000 acres.

Jackson-based Molpus, is a timberland investment firm. It has 1.9 million acres under management in 18 states with a value of $2 billion.
