Don Noblitt of Jackson has been named to the Board of Directors of the Parents Television Council.
A lifelong resident of Jackson, Noblitt is the co-owner and partner in charge of the financial and land activities of the Mississippi Oil Co., which owns oil and gas interests in Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas.
Noblitt is the past chairman of the Mississippi Food Network, which supplies food to over 300 agencies in 71 counties in the state. He currently serves on the advisory boards of The Salvation Army and The McClean Fletcher Center, which aids and counsels children ages 4-18 that have lost an immediate family member. Noblitt is married to Holley Herrin Noblitt, and they have two children and four grandchildren.
