Pascagoula attorney Karl Steinberger has been nominated to be President of the Mississippi Bar Foundation. Elections will be held at the Foundation’s Annual Meeting on April 14.
Steinberger is a shareholder and vice president with the firm of Heidelberg, Steinberger, Colmer and Burrow. He has practiced law in Pascagoula since 1976. He received his bachelor’s degree from Ole Miss in 1973 and his Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1976.
The Mississippi Bar Foundation was organized in 1963, and it’s members represent the highest level of professionalism and competence for a Mississippi lawyer. The Foundation provides financial assistance for many law-related projects and scholarship assistance to both Mississippi’s law schools. It also financially supports law related public education programs such as the statewide high school mock trial competition to improve public understanding of the legal system.
