Greg Hatcher, Executive Director of the Mississippi Industrial Heritage Museum in Meridian, represented Mississippi Makers recently at the White House’s celebration of the National Week of Making. Libraries, museums, recreational centers, schools, universities and community spaces were invited to support and grow the number of our citizen-makers by hosting events, making commitments, and highlighting new innovations in their local communities during this week.
The White House invited representative makers from all 50 states to attend a day-long conference. Hatcher is also the executive producer of the Meridian Mini Maker Faire, which is the only maker event in the state.
