Jennifer Sloan Ziegler has joined Waggoner Engineering as an engineering intern in the firm’s water resources and coastal programs department.
Ziegler will lend her water resources and coastal restoration research experience in the Gulf of Mexico region, combined with her environmental and public policy expertise, to serve Waggoner’s state and local agency clients on environment and infrastructure programs and projects.
Ziegler’s previous experience includes serving as a lecturer for the Aerospace Engineering Department at Mississippi State University. She was a Knauss Marine Policy Legislative Fellow for Sen. Maria Cantwell representing the Mississippi-Alabama Sea Grant Consortium. Zeigler most recently was a civil engineer for the United States Army Corps of Engineers. She received both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in civil and environmental engineering and a doctorate of philosophy in engineering, with a concentration in civil engineering from Mississippi State University.
