The MSU Foundation has named Sara Frederic director of development for the College of Arts and Sciences. Sara Frederic, a Mississippi State University alumna, will lead fundraising efforts for the college.
An Aberdeen native, Frederic earned an Associate of Arts degree in broadcast communication from Meridian Community College in 2006 before continuing her higher education at MSU. At MSU, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in communication with a concentration in public relations in 2008 and two master’s degrees, an MBA and a master’s of sport administration, in 2010 and 2011 respectively.
Frederic most recently served as strategic projects and communications manager for Blue Cross & Blue Shield in Jackson.
Frederic has been vice president of public relations for the Master’s of Business Administration Association and president of Phi Kappa Theta honor society. As a graduate, she is a member of the MSU Alumni Association’s Central Mississippi Chapter board.
