Chef Frank Szymanski has been promoted to Director of Culinary Operations at the Flora Butcher. Szymanski joins the Flora Butcher with a resume that includes Chef de Cuisine positions at the Louisiana Pantry in Orange Beach, Ala., and Nick’s in Jackson.
Szymanski previously worked in the kitchen of NOLA, the famed New Orleans eatery of celebrity Chef Emeril Lagasse. Szymanski moved to NOLA from Emeril’s Gulf Coast Fish House in Gulfport where he was a Saucier.
Szymanski graduated Magna Cum Laude from Johnson and Wales University, America’s renowned culinary arts college.
