Kirkland’s will open its second Jackson area store late this month, to be followed by the opening in December of three other tenants to complete the third phase of the Forum at Grandview in Madison.
Those other tenants are Firehouse Subs, David’s Bridal and Moe’s Southwest Grill, according to Stacey Michael, spokeswoman for Chattanooga-based CBL & Associates Properties, developer of the 25,000-square-foot expansion.
Kirkland’s is hiring now for the new store, and will need about 25 part-time workers. It will be the third Kirkland’s in metro Jackson, among 402 stores in 36 states. It describes itself as “a specialty retailer of home décor.” Applications can be made at www.kirklands.com/careers.
Moe’s will open a restaurant in Maywood Mart in Jackson on Thursday, Oct. 13, a company spokesman said. It will occupy part of the space left vacant by Montgomery Ace Hardware.
The chain has been out of the Jackson area market for about a decade but franchise holder Josh Snyder of Columbia, S.C., is bringing back the Tex-Mex fare.
Anchor stores in the Forum are Best Buy, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Michaels, Miskelly Furniture, Stein Mart, Petco, Homegoods and Malco’s Grandview Theater.
