Selena Swartzfager, president of the MS Council on Economic Education has been elected as President of the National Association of Economic Educators. Swartzfager served two terms as treasurer prior to being elected as president.
The National Association of Economic Educators is the professional association of economic educators with a mission to advance economic and financial literacy by serving educators.
Swartzfager has served as President of MCEE since 2010. In this role she works to increase economic and financial literacy in Mississippi by providing resources and training to public and private K-12 school teachers, empowering students to create a more prosperous future for themselves and Mississippi.
