Neel-Schaffer, Inc., has announced that Greg Russell, PE, PS, has joined the firm and will serve as a Senior Project Manager based in the company’s DeSoto County office.
Russell has nearly 30 years of experience as a Surveyor, Project Engineer, and Project Manager, working on a wide variety of projects across the Southeast, from Mississippi to Georgia. Russell is returning to DeSoto County, where he worked from 1996-2008 with Russell and Company, LLC, a firm he established and grew, serving private residential, commercial and industrial clients in Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, North Carolina, Alabama, and Oklahoma. He most recently served as a Project Manager and Civil Engineer for another consulting firm based in Norcross, Ga.
Russell has extensive experience in residential and private commercial development. He has completed services for residential projects ranging from a few lots to 800 lots, and he has worked for such national clients as Jiffy Lube, Taco Bell and the U.S. Postal Service.
Russell is a Registered Professional Engineer in Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia, and a Registered Professional Surveyor in Mississippi. He holds two degrees from Mississippi State University, a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Business Administration.
