Haddox Reid Eubank Betts PLLC announced four promotions.

Alex Boyd, CPA, has been promoted to Senior Manager. He is a member of the tax staff with over eight years of experience in public accounting, having joined the firm in 2010. He manages tax and tax planning in the areas of individual, business, trust, estate, and not-for-profit. As a member of the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants, Boyd served as a board member of the 2016-2018 Young CPA Network and is a member of the Central Chapter. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a graduate of Mississippi State University with both a Bachelor of Accountancy and a Master of Taxation. Boyd is a member of the Capital Area Sunset Rotary Club. He attends First Baptist Church in Jackson where he is involved with the Music Ministry as part of the Worship Choir. Boyd is also an avid tennis player and participates in several leagues and tournaments in the Jackson area.

Ashley Sullivan, CPA, has been promoted to Manager. She joined the firm in 2016 and has four years of experience in public accounting. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants where she is serving on the board of the Young CPAs and is also a member of the Central Chapter, and the Accounting & Finance Women’s Alliance where she is currently serving as Vice President. She is a graduate of Mississippi State University with both a Bachelor of Accountancy and a Master of Taxation. Sullivan volunteers with the Friends of Children’s Hospital, Sanderson Farms Championship, and Salvation Army. She attends First Baptist Church Madison where she is an Upward soccer coach and student ministry volunteer.

Wesley Reed, CPA, has been promoted to Senior Accountant. He has over three years of experience in public accounting, having joined the firm in 2016. Reed is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a graduate of Mississippi State University with both a Bachelor of Accountancy and a Master of Taxation. Reed volunteers with Friends of Children’s Hospital and for the Red Kettle Campaign with the Salvation Army.

Ryan Smith, CPA, has been promoted to Senior Accountant. Smith has been a member of the assurance staff with the firm since 2017. He performs various audit and review engagements for the firm. Particular industries of focus include those of oil and gas, financial institutions, government municipalities, and non-profit entities. Smith also assists the firm in preparing state and federal tax returns during the spring tax season. He is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Accounting and a Masters of Taxation. Smith is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants. Smith is a member of Wynndale Baptist Church in Terry.
