JMAA promotes Ridinger to director of capital programming

Jackson Municipal Airport Authority (JMAA) has promoted Drew Ridinger to Director of Capital Programming.

The Meridian native received his Associate of Arts Degree from Meridian Community College. He then earned a Bachelor of Architecture Degree from Mississippi State University.

Prior to joining JMAA, Ridinger worked in the private sector for five years as an Intern Architect. In this role, he was responsible for creating drawings and schematic designs as well as assisting with construction administration for projects throughout the state of Mississippi.

In June 2018, he became the JMAA Manager of Capital Programming where he has managed the completion of capital projects including Atlantic Aviation Interiors Renovations, Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport’s (JAN) Upper Roadway Rehabilitation, and JAN Restroom Renovations. Since June 2019, Ridinger has been serving as the Interim Director of Capital Programming as Darion Warren, former Director of Capital Programming was appointed to Interim Chief Executive Officer.

As the Director of Capital Programming, Ridinger will manage JMAA’s five-year Capital Improvement Program to assist with efficient planning and programming of capital improvement projects in support of the JMAA Strategic Plan 2021. In addition to capital improvement efforts, he will also oversee maintenance and custodial activities.
