Elizabeth Duran Swinford, currently with the East Baton Rouge Parish School System in Louisiana, has been selected as the new superintendent of the Vicksburg Warren School District. Swinford will oversee an annual budget of about $80 million and a district that includes 15 schools and about 9,000 students and 1,300 employees.
