Caterpillar to close Oxford plant, eliminate 240 jobs

By JACK WEATHERLY Caterpillar Inc. announced Thursday that it will shut down its Oxford plant and eliminate 240 jobs. JACKSON — Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America Inc. (MCFA) has acquired Daily Equipment Company (DEC) of Jackson. The price was not disclosed. RICHLAND — Stribling Equipment, LLC says it has acquired the heavy equipment dealership operations of Warrior of Arkansas Inc.
