Payment ends former economic developer’s embezzlement case

A former economic development executive no longer faces criminal charges after he agreed to pay his former employer more than $30,000. The Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal reported Friday that embezzlement charges against Harvey Clements and his wife, Sandy Clements, were dismissed in May.
